1. The service

Philipp Sommer, Dornierstraße 11, 88048 Friedrichshafen, Germany ("we") provides Whomwise: a service that helps you look for a job in the United States by finding employers that fit you, working out who to write to, and preparing messages, and by watching for new roles and tracking your search. We prepare; you send. We don't send messages from your accounts, apply for you or contact anyone for you. You review everything and decide what to send.

2. Your account

• You must be an adult and give us true information. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Don't share it.
• Connecting your mailbox is optional. It's read-only, and you can disconnect at any time. Reading the job alert emails you get is a separate switch, off unless you turn it on.

3. What you're responsible for

• The drafts are written with AI and checked in code, and they can be wrong or out of date. Read every message and check every claim before you send it. You're responsible for what you send and for what your CV and messages say about you.
• Write to people the way you'd want to be written to: honestly, briefly, and stop when someone says no. Follow the laws that apply to your emails (for example the US CAN-SPAM Act). Don't use the service to harass, mislead, or scrape.
• Don't try to break the service, reach other users' data, or use it in a way that costs us unfairly. We may pause an account that does.

4. No promises about results

We can't promise replies, interviews or a job, or that everything we find is complete or correct. Employers, people and roles change; we show where each fact comes from so you can check. The service is provided "as is" as far as the law allows.

5. Plans, payment and cancelling

• Free: no card. It covers your directions, the tracker and daily plan, and a limited number of researched employers and lookups each month, as described on the plan page.
• Search, monthly: $39 a month, charged through Stripe. It renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in one step from the plan page (Manage billing); you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing you have is removed afterwards.
• Search Pass: $89 for 3 months, one payment. It doesn't renew by itself. We email you a week before it ends and you can add 3 more months then.
• Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax may be added where the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, your plan stays for 7 days while you update your card. After that the free plan's limits apply until the payment works. Nothing is deleted.
• Refunds:.
• When a plan ends, everything you already have stays: employers, messages, notes, history. Only new research follows the free plan's limits. You can always download or delete everything.

6. Your data

How we handle your data is in the privacy policy. It stays yours. You give us the right to process it to run the service for you, and nothing else.

7. Ending it

You can delete your account and all your data at any time from the app. We may end or pause an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why. If we close the service, we'll tell you in advance and let you download your data.
